Thank you for giving us a first taste of winter. Not really knowing where the water is coming from, makes this an interesting shot by itselves and the rocks coated with snow formed round objects that is always appealing to the human eyes.

Beautiful scene Dave from your country's wintry start. In time we will have our usual half-dozen snowflakes in the south of our country. Wonderful details captured in the whiteness of it all. I love it Dave, well shot..Best wishes..Ray

This is a beautiful scene. I love the ice on the water sparkling in the light. Beautiful. I also like Gustav's crop suggestion too. I just love the snow but don't get the opportunity to play in it much. Great shot Dave. I love it.

Cheers - Ann :)

Dave, we NEVER see that much snow where we live ~ we, almost never! What a beautiful scene you've captured here. I love the way the snow is draped over the rocks like white coats.
Excellent image!
Best regards, Chris

I like how the snow has collected in mounds on the stones. The running water and trees in the background add a nice touch. Del.

I think the ice creeping out toward the center makes it look colder than when it's forzen solid. The trees in the background add a lot to the image. It's good you didn't crop them out. Nice scene.
