Lovely - how nice to see a little of summer sunshine and pretty flower with such great colour tones. A lovely composition and so cheering on a cold and frosty evening here

Aah Pat, this is a ray of sunshine and thank-you for it. I was a bit down yesterday but as the day progressed I felt fine. Bless you for thinking of me.

I love this shot, the colours and focus are soft and gentle and in keeping with the delicate looking nature of the flowers.. Thank-you once again sweetie and my very best wishes to you..Ray

Very nice composition, Pat! I like your soft colours and selective focus.
Thanks for your comments, too! No, we don't have any mountains near Winnipeg at all. It's in the Red River Valley, which is a broad flood plain as opposed to a real valley. There is higher hill type country in western Manitoba, but probably not what you would call mountains!
Dave.
