Thank you very much for your comment Jeannette ! :-D even if it's a little early to compare with a great master as Turner ! I really appreciate your encouragements :-D In this picture I tried to catch a particular moment between an objective and a subjective view of the character. I like to play with paradoxical emotions. :-)

I mostly like the strange way of turning the head, as an old man trying to hear better, but he aren?t listening. It?s like concentration or frustration.....also a view over something we can?t see and thats close to the theory within the Romantic era and their way of viewing the sublime.... You make me think of Turner, in the matter of fact! As usual Frédéric i like your work!!!
