This has the effect of looking like a protester at an unwanted construction site. Protest is in the finest traditions of American folk music, and while I know this is an Irish image, I could not stop myself from the association! Anyway, a very nice candid George, well composed and sharply captured. There is such great expression seen in the singer's face.
Best regards, Mark

Brings to mind Bob Dylan with the signs in the back.

Good portrait George, I like the look of concentration on his face totally absorbed in what he's doing and oblivious to the very large whole appearing behind him!....... ;~}

In Italy we use to say "if you sing a song any pain will flow away..." (well the meaning is this one but words are others) and it apply very well here to the photo and to your title, excellent George
