Thanks Marcus, and my apologies missing your comment and not responding earlier.

Thanks for that Mark, that was the intention when I put them together, but you've explained it much better than I could have.

Very creative, to use the "clear" window to act as the device to tell your story ... as the storm intensifies, this unseen middle-ground changes and effects the way in the subject (the tree) is ultimately seen.
Congratulations.

very creative series, the shots show more strength in each frame, very well done..

Thanks Judi, it was a good storm in the sense that it was a good show with the whole sky being lit up by the lightning, we got some much needed rain, and there wasn't very much damage. The only disappointing thing from a photographers point of view was that there were very few bolts hitting the ground, it was all in the clouds.

Thanks Paul, storms can be fun when you're warm and dry inside and not having any damage caused.

Wow...that tree is getting a beating. Excellent montaging.

Nice collage Bruce. The only thing I would suggest is a little thicker line between the photos to set each one off a little better. Very creative!

Unique presentation very well seen!
I like how the tree has blown all to the left in the last image....gives a real sense to the power of the wind. Nice colors as well.
