Oops...sorry...I forgot to mention these trees in this image are silhouettes against the colourful warm sunset sky so this photo is itself a beautiful example of silhouettes.

Hi Saw,
A silhouette is like a dark shadow against a contrasting background. If you go to the home page on Usefilm you will see samples of photo silhouettes that people have posted in the silhouette project.
