For a relatively fast shutter speed, you sure got a nice exposure here, Larry. Your timing was perfect. Normally to get the rain effect, it takes either great timing or about a 2 second exposure. I don't have that good of timing! Nice series.

A little luck I suspect...this was m first try...if you get a chance try 1/30-1/40 f4 worked well with my 18-70 I find there's more than enough light to do this handhled although I started with a tripod...Thanks Marcus

Larry you really get great fireworks shots, the lighting is perfect! nice colors during the beautifully times explosion, Mine always look like a big blown out mess :)
