About Went back and shot the Fountain again. This is taken at the Austin State Hospital.

To get more of the spray I think I really need a 35 mm lens, on my wish list. Tried pulling back with the 50mm and it lost it's intensity. The 90 I just couldn't get for me the same feel, there is a bar that I am leaning on in front of this, and as soon as I pull back it becomes a part of the shot. Really liked how this came out... Thanks for looking

Very nice effect Mark. Wonder, what if you pulled back, got the bar in your shot and then cloned it out?? You seem to be up on the PS things perhaps??

Very strong image, for sure. The pattern of the water is especially nice. (BTW--Larry Fosse and I have started a "Clock Project" just for fun. If you've got any clock shots, please feel free to join in.)

Good wishes,
--George

It's like one of the whirling dervishes Mark. They keep the hands wide open. One in the direction of the sky, and the other in the direction of the earth. Symbolically, they take love from god and give it to earth.

"Come, come again, whoever you are, come!
Heathen, fire worshipper or idolatrous, come!
Come even if you broke your penitence a hundred times,
Ours is the portal of hope, come as you are.
Mevlana Celalettin Rumi, AC 13.th Century philosopher (Founder of the whirling dervishes's doctrine)

I like the feeling of your photo. Congrats my friend...
