Ach, you've got a great shot there (even if you did use my title!) - I love the capture of the spray. AJ

Hi cousin!
The picture was not from a boat, but from the shore. This is a skimboarder, not a surfer, which means they are riding the waves as they break right on the beach. The water is often only inches deep when they do theses marvelous tricks. I live in Laguna Beach, the skimboard capital of the world. The Oly 135 was my favorite lens for capturing skimboarders, but alas, it fell apart about a year ago and I haven't had it repaired yet. I do very little 35mm work anymore, and I just started using a digital Nikon this summer, so my Olympus stuff is gathering dust.

Great dynamic shot, Ed. I love my OM cameras, too. The small 135mm tele is just excellent, I use the 3.5/135mm. Was that picture made form a boat?

Astonishing and marvellous. It leaves me opene-mouthed--both at the skill of the young surfer and at the photogrpher who captured that searing moment.
