This sign was erected in late 50's or early 60's. Not seen in this photo is the Classic Service Station built in 1930's. ( The station is still very much in use and , yes, they pump your Gasoline). Now the bad news is that this sign and all buildings shown behind this sign will be demolished very soon. I am not sure what the future of The Station I described will be. A group is trying to save it for historical reasons. Question?? What will be built back in place of these buildings-simple, a large CVS PHARMACY. Progress???? ( see my self portrait also in this photo) Note , no filter used here, the slide film I used is very warm at late afternoon.
