The only improvement I can think of is that she needs a highlight in the eyes. She has "dead" eyes like a shark.

Lovely portrait. Beautiful antique/sepia toning. The rare one that caught my eye among the "Random" ones on the left - you know what I mean. I'm surprised that out of 200+ views it has received only 13 comments and a mere 3 ratings! Must be some historical explanation.
However, I must agree with Debbie that the back of the hand could have been burned in a bit.
