About Strange title? Maybe, but this is my first tentative entry into the realm of Photo Art. The flowoer at lower left was not there in the original shot, which looked a bit unbalanced, so I selected, rotated, pasted and blended in the flower at the upper right... The necessary sharpening has accentuated the grain, but I prefer this to the alternative given by noise-reduction software.

Dear Mary, I am touched by the long series of encouraging comments you have left over the last few days--especially so when you light on a neglected favourite of mine like this one. I keep returning to your portfolio but you are not posting many photos these days... Comments are the great strength of Usefilm and I'm most grateful for yours! It's so good to know that my very ordinary talents can consistently give pleasure...

Good work, Roger. Trying something new is always fun, especially when the results turn out well.

Very nicely done, Roger, and I agree with you entirely about the composition. The only slight give-away is that the edges on the pasted-in flower are not quite as soft and blurred as they are on the other two flowers. This could possibly have been achieved by using a soft-edged eraser or some feathered selective blurring.
Best regards, Chris

Fantastic Roger, what excellent 'photoart' makes a lovely balanced image, great colours.texures and the dof gives a nice background
