Having been to Yeovilton Airshow as a guest (our aircraft is treated as a "vintage" British design, one of the aircraft based at the same farm strip as ours joined us briefly for a photo shoot.
The aircraft shown hear is a Chrislea Ace, an aircraft only produced in small numbers due to it being inherently unstable and very difficult to fly. But it was a great day out and this picture captures all that I love about flying.
Superb shot Neil and a very interesting About. Not a shot many of us get the opportunity to capture. I like the composition whereby you placed the subject in the lighter band of sky and just caught a glint of sun on the fuselage. Den
Great view and good light. By placing the aircraft in the upper part of the photo You made the picture very uplifting. The silver color of the airplane contrasts well with warm tones of the Sun. Very good shot
