About This is one of my favourite places, not just because my favourite camera shop is here... It's quite difficult to capture. There are a few minutes each day when the balance between the daylight filtering in from above and the artificial lighting is just "right."

It has a different look here... what difference the light made.... This one is more 'alive' and the other has a cozy atmosphere... maybe because I don?t like crowd so much... )
I liked both, the perspective and details are great here too.
Thanks for sharing a bit of Japan with us. :-)

There are intersting things to view in all parts of this picture. From top to bottom and left to right there are vivid colours and intereting lines. You have captured the energy of the busy mall well.

Superb shot of this busy shopping mall, Roger.
I'd say you got the lighting just about perfect!!
Best regards, Chris

Roger - enjoy those few moments of light balance. I do the same think here on the Eastern Shore with our pier which has lights that go on at Dusk. This image of yours does seem to capture the chaos and bustle of a very busy place.

Cheers JB

Roger Really interesting, the way the 'signs' lead the eye through the arcade at such a dizzying speed you can almost feel the hustle/bustle of the people.

Thanks, Mark. The very wide 20mm is a bit tricky to handle and I had oviously pointed it slightly up. I didn't want to correct that, though, because you lose width... It might be less disturbing if I had stood exactly in the middle of the arcade. I'll try that next time I'm there at the right time of day.

good bustling color Roger. slight off-horizontal disconcerting though--or maybe that's just lens artifact?
