It got tired faster than the others, and I was waiting for it at the only grass stalk that was strong enough to take its weight. Clever, huh? ;-) I took this picture from approx. 5 cm from the object.
This picture and your 'about', tells an interesting story, Denitsa. Reminds me of my six legged spider, photos. It's good how we empathise with these fragile little animals, when we photograph them.
Very good DOF, with lots of detail and colour. You might try and lighten the blurred background, and lower stem, to emphasize the damaged wing. You are really showing how the little A95 should be used!
Thank you, Mervo! It is sad, indeed, but it didn't seem to affect it in any other way - it played around with the others, and, generally, seemed fine. I guess, if it is female, it will just lay its eggs and... life goes on. Best regards, Denitsa
This is quite a sad shot really, nice thought into capturing it, and very unusual to see a dragonfly/damselfly (Not sure which) with half a wing missing! Do you think that it will grow back?
