Hi, Colin, and thank you very much! About the settings - nothing special, indeed. I shot this with three Hoya close-up lenses - +1, + 2 and +4, all screwed onto a LensMate adaptor. The metering mode was - 'Spot', and the focusing - automatic, not AiAF, but Flexi Zone (I set the AF frame position on the display and pointed it to the drop, then pressed the button halfway several times, until the AF frame became green - i.e. focused) Nothing special, really. The only trick is to chose an object that is far away from the background, so the DOF can be ok. This was a high plant - nettle, as far as I remember, about a meter or so higher than the other vegetation. Thanks for looking at my pictures! Best regards, Denitsa
A fine and beautifully focused macro, Denitsa. I know how difficult it is, to get the A95 to focus, with this precision! Very well done! 7. What settings did you use?
Nice composition and DoF! If you like macro, try using a reversed 50mm f/2.8 (or faster) lens. I am using this setup (A75) and am happy with the results.
