About This picture of the old abbey was made out of 3 horizontal shots, and got a more decent sky than the dark gray one on the original (it rained that day, yes!). Hope you like it a bit.

Hi Peter,

very interesting work. A bit surral with the super sharp abbey and the good looking sky. minor pity is that the people wear umbrellas although there is no rain ;-)

anyway, very creative stuff. good work on the pano.

best wishes,
Thilo

I love the place...one of my favourite places in the tuscany...

the atmosphere is quite unreal...and the umbrellas under the nice sky adds to this feeling...

Cheers,

wow these tones and colors and textures are incredible.
It is amazing how we obtain such beautiful colors during a rainy or stormy day.
wow 3 horizontal shots together ! well done.
Have to learn how to do that :)

Love it.
Bravo.

Excellent work that allows the rendering of this beauty in this vertical pano stitch.

I remember my visit to San Galgano (same rain !!!)

What I don't like is the sky, I think i too different and not matching with the rainy day. I'm sure that a more dramatic one could reach the effect thinked.

Great image in any case. Congrats. Fabio

This really pops out of my screen!
I like the dramatic lighting and the moody sky, and I love how sharp the brick work appears.
I reckon that round window at the end is just begging to have a bit of cloud float into it!
I think it's impressively atmospheric!

Sounds like a lot of PS work, but certainly worth it in the beautiful outcome. It must be nice to have talent!

Nice detail and texture of the architecture. The people also adds interest to the photo. I would prefer dull sky instead :) Best regards my friend. Thanks.

like the perspective, Peter; what about more dramatic sky? - it would fit to the atmosphere of these walls and its colors actually
