Peter, this is really nice. My wife was looking over my shoulder and she remarked on it too.

Very nicely done, Peter. Beautiful color and vivid detail. Nicely composed as well.

Got it, smile and nod smile and nod... I have put that in the file I just have to wait for the light bulb moment where I snap me fingers and say "that's what he was talking about". Thanks dear friend.

Thanks for your comment and question Ellen. The shutter speed was set by the camera. I was using my "Program Mode" Use the program AE mode to have the camera automatically set the shutter speed and aperture value to match the brightness of the scene. I manually set the ISO to 100 to keep the noise down and reduced my exposure bias to reduce the glare of the bright sun. I don't always shoot the full Auto mode. I wanted to take mor Photos, but was running late...
Thanks again, Your friend Peter

This is a show stopper Peter it's going right into my favs. A question from the student in me, why did you choose such a slow shutter speed?
