I'm feeling like a very lucky person at the moment.
Lucky to have brainy (and hard working) children - don't know where they get that from as I flunked my A-Levels due to spending too little time on my studies (more interested in social and non-academic activities as I recall)
Lucky to have the privilege to fly my own aeroplane (although yet to fly it on my own as I still need more training in it's particular features)
Although there is still a generous amount of state funding for university attendance in the UK, most students will end up with debts of around £15-£25,000 at the end of a 3year degree course. However they are able to pay that back over a considerable number of years once they are earning.

No - not a helicopter. But it is able to fly slowly. I have flow it at 30 MPH (26Kts /48KPH).

Neil it isnt fair the advantage you have in flying a plane you are able to take some fabulous aerial shots. What does he want to study? My eldest son is also due to go to uni a year in Sept but unlike your he will go in North Carolina, He wants to go to University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. It is very competitive and costs lots of $
