Thank you very much, Salvatore, for your good comments. I am having some computer problems now, and so I cannot be as active as I'd like. I will look at the photos you suggest. In the meantime, here is another beauty from Pere-Lachaise. ;-)

Hello again George! It's very nice to hear from you, and thank you for your comments. I agree that this is far from morbid, the beauty that can be found in such a peaceful place is truley amazing. I absolutely LOVE your capture!! These are exactly the type's of images I'm after. There is a photographer you may be interested in! Her name is Pamela Williams. She produced a book named Death Divine. Here's a link, you may be interested...http://www.saag.ca/exhibits/williams/williams3.html Kind Regards, Salvatore

George this is lovely as it is, don't think it needs a chop. Incidentally I had the browser window quite low when I opened it and only the top was visible down to the staues neck, it looked like she was holding her head in agony; bad headache maybe! ;~}}

You might be right, Thilo. I tried several variations, but this is the one I like best. Thanks . . . Best wishes, --George

Tried it. It's OK, but it loses some of the sense of looking up (and her looking down). Thanks, Larry.

Hi George,
very peaceful and quiet portrait... I like the way you seperated the lighter statute against the darker background. I'm not so sure about the centering of the face though. maybe a different crop would enhance the mood.
just an idea though =)
best wishes, Thilo
