Exceptional, Danny. The constant, sharp focus, across the entire DOF, gives superb detail. The foreground sand ridges, and the northumbrian storm clouds, frame the silhouetted castle perfectly.
The monochrome emphasizes the bleak beauty of this image. A favourite and a 7.
I often walk around there, and the area would have looked the same to the invading vikings!

nice high contrast shot - always a winner with the old mono shots. Thin I may post one my self now - same beach, differnt spot and NO castle!!!
