Nice composition with pleasant expressions all around with beautiful warm colors. This should look great on their website.

I probably would loose the horizon (higher camera position) and find a way to fill the shadows (whether reflector(s) or gelled flash)so the main exposure could be a little less, saving those hottest highlights.

I'm not sure what the usual practice is when photographing folk with their instruments in a group. How much instrument should show or is allowed to be hidden? That would be interesting to know. I feel like I'd like to see more of the smaller instruments for some reason.

Did you take any of them "performing"?

Thanks, yes the horizon will be cropped straight if they choose this one. I admit I don't have time to perfect every photo I upload to UF!! Without the faded edge you can see more horizon with the red cliffs in the background so it may be better without. Thanks Cheryl for your comments!! They haven't seen them yet except sneak peaks on the back of the camera. I did the Mandolin player's CD cover a few months back.

WONDERFUL shot Louise! Just beautiful. Did they love it too? Your talent is amazing...
As a suggestion: The horizon line is a bit slopping and I would crop it up to take it out (so you keep them where they are - they feel perfect). This lighting and seating is perfect.

I wanted you to know I am taking down my "friend list" and adding everyone to my Associates list - I think that long list has stopped me from seeing more photos. Im doing this to all of my list so don't be offended - I will check in on you for sure! I just don't have the time right now but I love your work so I will keep up on you.
