Hi Susan, As a reflex (mirror) lens (also known as a catadioptric! - try saying that after a few too many!) it has a fixed aperture, in this case its se at f/11 so is not particularly fast. But then again, nothing at this focal length is really!

what a whopper.... and he Lens is big too :-)
if he ever finds a proper use for that I'll be amazed, but till then it's a cracking toy - so why not play :-)
