I'm with Alastair here Danny. I don't remember a time when this old Karsie wasn't surrounded with bodies. Using your why dangle lense really has worked. The foreground rocks are so impressive and the clouds are positioned perfectly. Great composition. Den

If I went to these meetings I'd be sick, too, with all these baaad jokes. Then I'd need to use that loo up there.
Nice photo, Danny. Like the texture on the rocks, the colours are splendid and the sky is beautiful, with nice clouds.

HI there - paid up member LOL. This is excellent - you managed more than I did, I thought if I managed to get up there, I would be a bit like humpty dumpty and all the UFes wouldn't be able to get me back down again :) This was a strange thing stuck up there, from the comments I'll for the escape from the chip eating gastric problems LOL Margaret

those rocks lead you right up to the little shelter - super comp.
quite a different take on it - think it's different white balance to mine, I usually up the temperature when I get them in PS, makes it looks safer and more homely. Buit with this the temp is down to a more natural level and it looks more rugged and foreboding as a result.
I reckon it's a wave shelter - the crashing waves will hit it at its back so if you stand in there, you'll not get washed away....
cheers a d e

Great work on this shot Danny. From what I recall there was hardly any time where it was free of people sitting around it. Lovely warm colourings on the rocks and a fantastic sky to boot.
Be really interesting to know what it was... given its location in such an exposed area as well. Maybe an outside loo for someone with gastric problems? :-D
Great to meet you Danny. Really enjoyed the time spent with you and the others. If you are ever over in the west let us know... and I'll see if I can get Marie to wear her shorts!
