Superb... and it was a wonderful sight! Each of the pennants flying on the ships has a meaning, be it a meaning when used as a single flag or as a letter of the alphabet... In the days before radios or flashing lights with Morse Code the only ship to ship communication was either a loud hailer or the use of flags and pennants. I wonder what they were saying here???
Great shot capturing the majestic height of these magnificent ships and the colourful pageant they created.

Great capture of all the masts, witha lovely wispy sky behind it. Think I may have cropped a little bit at the side the row of flags seems to unbalance it just a little - see what you think
