About	Not a particularly good photo. The Fuji at max optical zoom + Olympus 1.7 Teleconv. is a bit if a challenge to keep exactly still without a tripod. But the birds won't pose for me where I want! I decided however to show this one because it is a surprisingly colourful bird for the British Isles and until I got this pic I didn't even realise it has such impressive colours. Yet another surprise for me from Greenham Common.

I know only too well your frustrations about birds posing Neil. I've binned so many shots but this would have been a keeper for me too. I do like how his colouring contrasts with the gorse bush. Thanks for sharing.
