Darlene this is beautiful..I thought I had already left a comment on this one..but I don't see it...This is just lovely...lovely..there is so much to like about it...the light is awesome, the pose wonderful, the light in the foreground versus the dark in the background..yes...kind of moody..the composition, how in the world did you get him to stand there for you like that...sheesh...excellent..this one should be framed...ok well most of your images should be...so very well done, and such a treat Darlene...:):)Linda

looking at this image is just like watching it videoed! mmmmmmmm .. very quiet place .. careful steps into the lake .. sharp eyes hunting for fish .. and a sudden peck! :))
could you manage to get a shot with a fish in mouth?

Wow! The light is fantastic and very dreamy in this one, Darlene. It really has struck a chord with me. The way most of the scene is in darkness, yet those shafts of light are illuminating the heron and some of the vegetation... just SUPERB!
