About At a Marinefestival in town the Navy was there with a few cars and kids could shoot water with a cannon from one of their cars. The boy was about to do this when the cannon didnt work properly.. so they left him in the car byhimself while militarypeople ran around trying to fix the problem. Exactly when i was about to take a photo of his kinda sad look inside the car a military guy ran into the picture. Im glad he did so as it made the image really interesting i think. What do you think?

Comments are most welcome! Cropped abit.

1/320 sec - F/4.5, Iso 200, 125mm

I can see the changes to the eyes and yes it gives the photo a different feeling and impact. A middleway between your version and mine might be the best i think! =) Im glad you liked this image and i agree that the blurred out military man added much! =))

Cheers

Patrick I had attached the other shot to this and done a comment, but had forgotten to downsize it so it didn't go. Don't know if an alteration to the eye when downsized is going to show anyway. Now back to this picture I think it is so amazing, and a very lucky happening too. It has such a haunting look, the shot taken through glass and then the reflection of the sky gives a wonderful aura to it, the fact that the blurry image is entering the picture just adds so much drama. A most remarkable shot

This reminds me of a dream sequence. Almost as if the boy is in the mind of the soldier?. Great picture. Well seen and captured Patrick. Regards John

I think this is one of the most magical and interesting moments ever captured. A true original my friend, that I would definitely be proud of. Again, the color works soooo well here. Very well done, a fav~

Very strong image! You did a excellent job of this, and the timing was perfect. I personally like the color version better. To me the boy appears to be looking to the future in the cloud reflections, and perhaps the soldier is his future. 7+++++ Dwight

Hi Patrick.
I think you caught a nice moment here and I like the view through the window. Personally I like the B/W better. Kind of gives it a 1950's feel which works because of the striped shirt on the boy. Nice capture.
