About I know he/she isn't a giant, but it certainly felt that way while looking the lens when Peta and I went to the Healesvilles Wildlife Sanctuary outside of Melbourne. Managed to get this little guy standing still for a few seconds before darting off. :) Let me know what you all think.

Australia certainly has some lovely birds - have never seen a Robin this color. How wonderful. Like the DOF - again sets the bird off perfectly, and his textured perch is another great contrast to the whole composition. Even tho this little guy is on the left of the shot, your eyes still move to the right and into the background, and the background starts your imagination to picturing leaves and trees, etc. CD copy time on these shots Rob - you are giving me new favorites!
