> your titles are really cracking me up here. personally, i think this is great.

Aw, Jill, you're wonderful.
Come to think of it, this title does add a dark prophetic dimension to the somewhat throwaway slapstick image. It sends out a quiet warning to the photograph-loving world that frantic technical and economic paddling with no water will not only get us nowhere, but will end in horrendous devastation. This scenario is already slowly creeping up on us, actively jollied and spurred on by the wilfully clueless who misguidely jump on the wrong-mindset bandwagon of costly yet ultimately empty illusion. And then just sit there, quiveringly afraid to look out of the window to see where they are heading, as the bandwagon continues, canoe-like, with ever increasing speed down a street that is not marked on the roadmap that shows the way to harness nice things and to have fun.
The gloom of this image sends shivers down my spine.
It was a really nice day out though.

Yeah!!

Thanks, big man. I was thinking more about ways to emphasise the dewy grass and the heavy gloom of the green, but, yes, it might be a nice idea to add some swirling elements...

I don't know what your available tools are, but it would be VERY cool to put a swirl around the paddle and a subtle bow wave in the grass, Paul.
