So "Foxtail" is what these are called. I've always for some reason loved the earthtone color of these and have tried several times myself to get some on film. I always get too many of them and then....Great job of composition here Lisa.

Agree that the wind movement affects this image, but it is pretty nice as is. I like the contrast between the soft foxtail (not familiar with those) and the other vegetation. Wasn't sure about the distant horizon, but after playing around with this, I see how the horizon gives the image a lot of depth. Nicely seen, Lisa. You did a good job of seeing the beauty around you.
