Very nice clarity. A portrait that a parent would love, you could lose yourself in those eyes. Great depth there. I agree with Mr. Soelen. You should try something to add a little charge to the scene, back lighting might be it, but I think if I back lit it I would prefer it in color.

Yep, it's an ok picture. Now I would like to suggest to try some additional (spot)lighting from the back on the hair, making it less black and making the overall picture more dynamic.
