I am ,in fact, refering to tone and contrast. You have a wonderful model. Keep looking at more figure work.

I hear you. Don't worry, it's introspection only, just a glimpse of things that hit most of us at some point or other that are usually covered up so carefully. K

Hi Kel, my hair looks quite dark because I've contrasted it up and used the curves tool I've heard you and the girls talk about. Thanks for your comments. Cheers

Thanks Owen. So following on from my previous reply, in b&w would you use the words soft and hard/harsh to describe 'tone'?? Cheers K PS: I don't have many models at my disposal.kekeke

Kiny:
I like this a great deal. I have no idea as to which of your images are self portraits and which are of other models but I like the composition of this image. It is not particularly soft, but not much of my work is either. Keep at what you are doing and it will all come together. Trust me.

Not a view of you I expected to see esp when combined with your about... which is kinda negative which is not you unless you are opening a view of yourself to us that you think we are ready to see... not sure if I would enjoy that ... you know my thoughts on self portraiture so I .. umm be careful XXR
