Hi Larry, Den here in answer to your question to Margaret re West Mercea. It is not too distant from us, about 60-70 miles but not the easiest of places to get to. It is situated on the East coast just outside of the Thames estuary. To give you a better idea I attach a map for you. Hope it shows up OK.

Been meaning to ask you and/or Den.
Are you familiar with where
West Mersea, Colchester, CO5 8EX would be from you?
You see I corresponded with Beryl Balls that lives there off and on ever since I was in 4th grade maybe. We never met and only talked on phone one time. Its down to an exchange at Christmas season,
which I also managed to neglect this past holiday.
I tried to influence her and her husband to get on the internet, but to my knowledge they are still holding out not doing so.
Just curious where they are. Hi to Den.
