It's really a good lens... you will enjoy it taking macro. LOL
Lots of people thought this kind of shot should be sharp, but somehow I like the soft, tone and slight blur effect, especially the eye is looking up at an angle, giving very nice composition.
Very beautiful shot and the model's eye too :>

Khaled my friend you shot a wonderful photo again. We are lucky to see beautiful photos everytime you experiment something new with your new lens:) I like the shot a lot especially the eyebrows and the trees reflecting in her eyes..and amazed&wondered how you focussed the eyeball so perfectly..

Hi Inji,
Thanx for your kind words, actually yes, this is my little daughter; Sherifa; we were in the balcony and I asked her to look to the sky to capture this photo..... she likes to be photographed and everytime she asks me to take her a picture :0)

Thanx dear for your nice words... I always look to reading your comments on my photos.
Actually I face the same problem of noise at higher ISO settings, it's so bad that 200 is the lowest ISO for the D100 I wish it was 100 or even less.
Actually with using my macro lens; and coz its focal length is 105mm; it requires much light, so I try to increase the ISO in addition to my intention to narrow the apperature (to increase the depth as mush as I can) so I'm faced with these noisy grains :0( especially if I try to do some PS adjustments like sharpening or b/w conversion but nothing I can do except trying to shoot in strong light as much as I can so as not to increase the noise.
If you browse my previous macro collection you'll find ISO's ranging up to 800 but ofcourse it was grainy.

Actually this was a capture for my 3 years old little girl "Sherifa" while we were in the balcony and she was looking towards the trees and the sky.... You can see the trees reflection in her eyes.
