This photo was in reference to how I was feeling (and am still feeling) about how this country was supposed to be, and how it actually ended up. That statue was supposed to stand for freedom, free speech, equality, and the bettering of the human race, and instead our rights are being taken away with private investors seizing peoples homes to "better the community", among other things. I just feel like its an expression of how the people should feel even though everyone seems so apathetic.
