Very busy recently, hence no uploads and little time to comment. Sorry. This one was shot at the same time as the previous 3, but I used levels to bring up the mid-tones. Too much do you think?????
A very nice mood is transmitted by this image. The balance of tones with detail in the shadows against the dramatic sky is illustrative of the time of day and time of year.
Thanks Rebecca. I find myself shooting the same subjects over and over, but because of lighting, angle, etc., it is always a challenge. I have been avoiding Photoshop recently, because a contest I have entered prohibits it's use. This was only a quick touch-up, I am very busy preparing for a show of my B+W's in July.
I love it. It has that painterly quality to it. This place is really beautiful, no matter how many times you see it. I have places like that here, that I visit often :)
