Oh my dear Marian this wonderful art I have seen once in a village in Egypt a looooong time ago !!!! we call it Aragouz !!think came to Egypt during turkish rule & there is an Egyptian movie about this art having the name (El Aragouz)starring the famous actor Omar Sherif .

Thanx for sharing this nice image Marian.. I know this type of shadow play, I used to like it when I was a kid.
Nice color tones and texture of the floor, the lighting is managed perfectly.
PS, what does it mean "ELLAS" which is written on the curtain?
