About Another cloud formation taken at the numis farm. This must be my favourite photo region - in one afternoon I took over 50 photos, within minutes of each other in different directions, using different lenses. The sheer scope of this is somewhat lost in the small size of the photo...

Wonderful shots in your portfolio - welcome to usefilm. Excellent work.

I can see the trees for scale. The horizon is a little dark, some PS work could bring it out, but I'd think this is great as is...

Uitst5ekend Tjaart - Stem saam oor die bome, die kontras werk goed maar dalk effens te skerp wat die "middle tones" verloor.

Thank you all kindly - this photo has been quite something to take through the use of correct exposure due to the sharp contrasts between the white clouds and actually the reflection from the sun and the darker part where the rain was falling. I decided against dodging to bring out the trees for the sake of scale (but will still do so to see the effect). Your comment are appreciated.

Immense sky, the drama is nicely enhanced with dark toning and high contrast. Great use of wide angle lens to convey a feeling of vastness and space. The only thing I would do if it were mine I would try out a bit dodging in the ground / horizon region to show the trees (?) more clearly, they would give a superb scaling factor to underline the dimensions of those gorgeous clouds.

What a wonderful photo. The colors are really nice. Did you do any post processing, color saturating? Great work!
