Thanks for the additional info Phil. I've never had any trouble with color saturation or exposure with my Canon TC.

I think it was the border throwing my eye off. When I took it out in PS it looked a lot better. I say that about TC's because in my experience they often leave you with unsaturated and underexposed shots unless you compensate for it. Nice work.

Thanks Margaret. I love the eyelashes too. I've attached a 1:1 crop of her left eye from the original so you can start counting. :)

Thanks for your comment Phil. The colors might look week because it was an overcast, dull day, and I didn't punch it up to make it look fake. Why do you say it looks underexposed? I doubt the TC effected anything you commented on. It does make the images just a tad softer, but nothing you'd notice at the resolution I post at here.

James What fabulous detail and colours. I would die for those eyelashes :) you can almost count them. His coat looks so silky and his ears so velvety he/she is beautiful and your composition is perfect in every way 7++++++++++++ Margaret

Very well framed, but can't help thinking the colours are slightly weak - and looks a little under exposed (a very little). Perhaps the teleconverter is to blame?

Very well done. . .always a happy catch with perfect DOF and a few sharp but subdued details in the foreground with your subject.
