At my age (60 this month) I rarely get on my tummy for anything. The last time I got down to take a shot it was a major production to get back up. I almost needed a block and tackle. ;~{
I shot this by bending over (as much as I could), held the camera at 90 degrees and shot blind, guessing where the flowers might be in the shot. I got lucky.
My new camera, PowerShot S1 IS, has a flip screen so I have a better chance of getting a better shot, that is if I can see it at arms length. Eyes getting bad too.
Thanks for your comments.... Peter P.S. I'm will be setting my Wife up on UF as a Photographer. I bought a new camera and she taken her first pictures. I'm helping her post them. She's only done cheap film cameras... Keep a eye out for Sherry Daniel, Photographer....

Really nice angle -- hope you didn't get ants in your pants or anything being on your belly there in that field. Excellent color and wild ambiance.

Beautiful flowers with excellent colours and a very good composition, Peter.
I love the way this is framed and presented. The light was very good.
Perhaps a bit of gardening to remove some of the distracting plants competing for the attention, but just a minor point.
Thank you very much for your visit and comment.
