For the lighting i used the canon speedlite 580 which has a little white card that extends from the gun when your bouncing flash which has the sole purpose of creating catch lites in your subjects eyes, simple but effective. I love fishing and the character in the picture is full of fishing tales...always a joy to listen to, especially after a few large bottles of guinness

Great capture Keith, looks like a guy with alot of stories over a PINT (HeHe). Like the expression & the catchlights in the eyes. The sepia tone brought a nostalgic touch to the image too. Well done, cheers.

Many thanks Renato, the guy in the photo is a thatcher by trade and I've often met him on my cliff top walks taking photos, an amazing guy, he lives in a thatched cottage with no electricty or water, cooks a big ham in a pot over the fire and that does him for the most of the week aswell as the fish hes catches, I enjoy meeting him - a true man

How neat, I've sure taken more than my share of Photoshop classes. Plus I can always pick the brain of my son, you wouldn't believe the money he makes with Photoshop. He has been in graphics for over 10 years. Works in San Francisco, does all the Gap advertisments, and lots of others.
The program is amazing, I LOVE IT!
