Believe it or not I took this picture with the same feelings as you this time...the railtoad tracks are so close to the building too . This made me think it was of use in one way or another with the train bussiness at one time...I mean who else is gona hang out that close ! Yikes! The ground vibrates to a degree and the trains were more frequent than you might think after all of the hurricannes.

I like this one because of its strong emotional impact....for me the edifice evokes a depressed mood....a documentation of an empty old bldg now vacant after years of faithfully servicing a long forgotten business enterprise.

Perhaps this will make more sense: We like what we know and we know what we like!

A crop from foreground would help to direct attention towards the old building and the rich cloudy sky. Maybe a contrast dramatic B&W conversion also works for the theme. regards.
