About I'm sorry guys, you're probably tire of my dragonflies but these bugs just sit there and let me click away. This one is definitely a keeper. The lighting was such that to get the right DOF required 1/15 sec. exposure. Steady there big fella!

Wow! Sal... This is a very good capture. Congragulations. I love the sharp focus on the head and how it falls off immediately behind. Cheers, Andree

It's hard to bore of stunning close ups like this Sal! Stunning colours and I like the suggested triangle created by it's wings and tail.

Keep 'em coming.

Hey, was that thing made by Sikorsky? Sure looks like a helicopter :-). What a crisp clear macro. Nice work.

I love the macro.. very sharp and crisp.. the colors are great.. it is unfortunate that the background is so busy... sort of takes away from the overall composition..I still have not bought a macro but am looking at the canon 100mm... good work

Hi, Lisa thanks for your glowing compliment. They're both Sigmas 28-80 mm (this one) and a 70-300 mm and they're great.

Yet another brillant macro. Great image of this dragonfly. The detail in the image is awesome. How do you do it. I've been considering buying a macro lens which will probably be the last lens I purchase. I'm considering the one you use. What is the distance that you were away from this fella when you took his image?
