Thank you so much for your comments Pat and for answering my question! This is another great image. It certainly is beautiful in SD! I love the soft clouds and the blur in them. The colors look great also!

Dear Pat,
I thank you for setting me straight on my miscommunication regarding this forum. No malaise was ever intended on my part, whatsoever. I also know my snap shots are crummy, but that?s why I?m here, as to improve my photography.
No apologies are needed on your part, but I do extend my deepest apologies to you for this blatant disregard of respect towards your Art? I have never been accused of having tack?(lol) What do expect from a Hillbilly anyway?

Mr, Martin. We are done. After the, "Perhaps you should go into Marketing instead of photography" Comment.
You have three pictures on this web site. And quite frankly, they are not so good.. They are grainy, have dust specs. the exposures are off.. And one has a horrible color cast.
So, where do you get off telling me I should give up on photography... I have countless awards in photography, including four on this web site. I am very well paid for my work.
I do not mind honest critiques but mindless insults piss me off, in case you haven't noticed. ANd it matters not if you are insulting me or anyone else.. It's not what this website is about.

Awesome capture Pat,
Although the clouds are perfect, the foreground is a little soft. DOF is lacking, but I will conceder the Vivitar camera and lens as your biggest challenge to achieve the perfection of a great photo? Hopefully you don?t take my critiques negatively, but as an inspiration to do better. I need your input on my work, as well? Thanks in advance for you efforts regarding my photo?s?.

Hi Pat, wonderful picture, calm and dramatic the same time, love the sparse colour palette. One for the well. The filter effect on the upper left adds drama, excellent job!

Nice. I saw this on my way to critique some of your wildlife shots, and it really jumped out at me. Great form here with the clouds following the hills. Wonderful colors, and there's a great sense of depth.

Thanks Jonathan. No dev. problem. I think it's just the way the sun was hitting the clouds over there. I did use a circular polorizer on this so there is a little off axis polorization too...

Very nice image. This sort of panoramic composition works very well here. What happened to darken and colorize the left quarter of the image? Was that a development problem? I would love to see this as a black and white shot with an orange or maybe red filter. Nice picture.
