Hello Zed, nice portrait & concept of the model in contemplation. Just an opinion, I believe the composition would be better off without the table fixture on the right without that would give her the room to gaze out on & compliments the mental state she's in. Nicely staged, composition is clever and I think it was a good idea to crop a square format. If you have some space on the left, I would consider a bit more space for her elbow and the left border -

I don't think it's any grainier than Tri-X. Grain's something that I like anyway, at least for moody, contemplative themes. Beautiful and strong high and low tones (zones 10 and 0) and everything in between. It reminds me a lot of the European masters. I'm adding this to my fav list. It's always gratifying to see the old adage that it's not always the camera, but the concept.
