Actually, it is a ghost town, just some rangers live in a few of the buildings.

Hi Jessica-- Bodie is on the eastern side of Yosemite, about 20 miles north of Mono Lake. It is a really interesting place, with lots of great structures. You may also want to check out Mono Lake, which, if you've never seen it, has very eerie and unusual rock formations. I have some photos of it in my portfolio.
