About I'm getting kind of bugged out. Not saying I wont post another one tomorrow but I did need to mix it up a bit. This very beautiful bird is a stark contrast to it's male counterpart (Black with red and yellow markings on wing)

Focal Length 400 mm.
2X Extender

I don't think I have ever seen a female, I have one male that comes to my feeders with a group of blackbirds, but he is the only one I've seen up here. This is beautifully taken James, the lighting is so warm and the dof wonderful. Alison

Why bugged out, James?

Beautiful shot, showing bird and environment. She does get a bit lost in it, though...

Nice capturelmof a colourful blackbird. The only difference in ours really is one is black, one is brown !!! - when you are on a roll with something you tend to keep going, I'm the same, but try and then go to something different, -variety is the spice of life - they say .
