It was certainly worth the hassle you got Ade, this is just awesome. The oversaturated colours look superb - and the detail in the bark is astounding also !
Excellent photograph :-)
Best wishes, Steve

Cracking shot Ade! It seems you spend more time lying down than standing up! Wonder why......? ;-) Cracking shot mate... love the depth this image has with the trees leading the eye back through the bluebells... Superb... Cheers for all the comments on my shots too mate... struggling to reply to them all! Cheers and see you soon hopefully! Good luck Friday!

Cheer Neil.
I shot this in RAW so when I got home and did the import in photoshop I could have more control over the colour saturations. I upped the general saturation on the first tab then on the 4th (advanced tab) you can vary each colour's saturation.
There I lowered the green (as it was overpowering) and upped the blue a little just top make it stand out - seemed to work OK.
There was very little top do after that except a little sharpen.
Cheers
Ade

A wonderful site - quite often seen near here as well.
I've never been able to capture that intensity of blue/violet that the Bluebells give off - I guess it's just not possible to capture with the range of colour frequencies that the camera can see - sometimes the naked eye is the only way.

Bluebells are fab subjects aren't they Ade. Nearly 30 years ago I used them as props for a shot of my daughter, taken from down low. She wasn't much taller than the flowers at that time. Gorgeous shot you got here, so like the woods we were in on the meet. Den
