Thanks, Bruce. The only post processing I did was to create a levels adjustment layer and whiten the white and darken the shadows. No posterizing! But, might be interesting to try.

Lea, this is an interesting piece of work. I took a photo like this recently of empty chairs so I'm interesting to see someone else's take on the same topic. I'm also interested to know what come of post-processing effect you used on the image as it appears to be posterised to me.

Interesting pattern with the light and shade. At first I thought there was more to it than just the chairs, and then I saw the play of light and shadow..I really like it when people post new and innovative views of things, and this is definitely an alternate perspective.
